Ellen May Anderson is a Magandjin-based artist interested in the construction and circulation of images, and the relationship between the physical art object and digital visual languages. Anderson uses found imagery to construct virtual landscapes through the precise use of the ‘crop’, ultimately investigating painting as a self-reflexive medium despite the influences of the internet.
